奪われた平和の日々、 
無謀に振るわれた科学、 
奪われた命と自然、 
日本は戦後80年を迎えました。 

唯一、原爆を背負った国、 
広島と長崎に落とされた爆弾の重み。 
その恐怖が画像となり、 
切ない物語が再び語られます。 

戦争が続く中、厳しい思い出、 
核の影、私たちの恐れは深まる。 
指導者や兵士、どれほど悲しげに、 
この循環に囚われ、希望は薄れてゆく

日本人として、地球の一員として、 
この真実を考え、自己を省みる。 
毎日、平和を築くための決意を新たにし、 
広がる世界で安らぎを見出したい

A Daylight Stolen

Stolen days of peace, 
Science wielded heedlessly, 
Lives and nature taken, 
Japan, now eighty years since the war's end. 

The only nation to bear the weight, 
Of bombs that shattered calm in Hiroshima and Nagasaki's fate. 
In images, the horrors unfold, 
Echoes of sorrow in stories retold. 

As wars rage on, a stark reminder, 
Nuclear shadows, our fears grow finer. 
Leaders and soldiers, ever so grim, 
Caught in the cycle, our hopes grow dim. 

As a Japanese, as a soul of the earth, 
We ponder this truth, reflecting our worth. 
Each day a resolve to stand and understand, 
To build a world where peace can expand.
